Working Hungarian Komondorok

The Komondor is a Hungarian sheepdog bred to protect sheep and other livestock from predators.

Koms are classed as a Livestock Guardian Dog and are ideal for protecting farms and rural properties.

This breed has an independent nature as an adult and as such REQUIRES early training.

This is not a plug and play breed.

Koms wander less than other breeds and provided proper boundary training was given during puppy-hood, mostly they stay close to home. Komondorok are also quite personable and function well as a family breed. They will bond to and protect both you and your children.

If you are looking for an LGD for your hobby farm, this magnificent breed can be a fine choice.
