**Book Reviews**

Jen Richardson - Thank you Amanda Fritsch for your dedication to the hobby!

Debbie McCormick - This book is the bomb! It's super thick, quality and my kind of reading with the hobby I love.

Its big print and a lot of pictures of my Angora family makes it an easy read.
I'm really impressed. The book is amazing.
You should be really proud of yourself. And did I read your mother, did the artwork? It's amazing too.

Thank you Amanda Fritsch!

Raisin Buns Rabbitry - I’m excited to announce and share this book!

Back in December of 2024, Amanda Fritsch of Dolly Rock Farm asked me permission to use some of my photos of my English Angoras.

I received my copy last weekend and I am in awe of how complete, well written and thoughtfully laid out this book is!

So much information is included; general rabbit care, angora breed standard differences, harvesting wool and spinning angora. It’s over 550 pages, filled with large color photos which speak for themselves with the topic being discussed; from showing to blowing, winning to spinning, even colors to get as a pet. This book brings show breeders together with fiber artists and pet homes that enjoy long hair.

I’m honored to have some of my photos included in this amazing book.

Whether a newbie or a seasoned longtime breeder, you’re sure to learn something from this book and enjoy paging through the many photos!

Joelsa Fiber Farm - This book! Chef's kiss! If you're new or not, this book is a wealth of information! The section on colors and genetics.. WOW! So helpful! Full of beautiful photos.

Straightforward, easy to read, SO Informative!

100/10 RECOMMEND. and not just because my German buck, Clark (aka Bruce), is featured as the blue tort example.
I have spent the last few hours reading and love it.

Laura Parker Clark - Want to learn what it is like to own and show Angoras?  Well here it is!  My friend Amanda Fritsch wrote this awesome book.  I am blown away! Thank you for creating this book.  I know it was a long hard process,  but it was worth it.

Spindle and Spoon Homestead -

I recently bought this book with my birthday money, and have been reading it cover to cover. If you have angora rabbits, get this book. A lot of the info I already knew, but I think much that info came from Amanda's giant angora facebook group.  A lot of info has been new to me and very helpful, even having had angoras for 5 years, I still can learn. I am taking notes on this book.  Amanda is very experienced.

I am inspired to take better care of my rabbits. After the worst summer I've ever had in my rabbitry, and no sucessful litters all year, I needed some inspiration. I'm grooming them better, cleaning the cages more thoroughly, and, hard but I don't regret it, I culled (for the first time ever) a rabbit myself. He was declining and I had been avoiding asking someone to cull him because it's just the worst, and I feel guilty asking other people to do it, because no one wants to do it really. But this book gave me the courage to finally do it myself. It's a sad but critical milestone for me.

Sad things aside, this book is just what I needed to bring back that spark of enthusiasm, joy, and confidence in working with my angora rabbits.

My daughters also love flipping through it, it's full of beautiful color photos. Actually it reminds me of my childhood spent happily flipping through dog and horse breed books. Thank you Amanda Fritsch

If you need this book, head to her website to purchase before it sells out!

Out of the Barn Bunnies Rabbitry and Homestead - Even though I'm not currently breeding angoras I do plan to do it again some day. I also love having this wealth of knowledge at my finger tips. The photos are beautiful and the explanations complete. If you are wanting to get into angora rabbits you need this book!

Miss Muffet's Rabbitry and Fibres (Canada) -  THE BEST ANGORA BOOK EVER

As many of you may already know, Dolly Rock Farm has been working tirelessly on the largest angora book ever- filled with example pictures of EVERY angora color, their care and absolutely anything you need to know! In my opinion it blows all the others out of the water. I can't say enough amazing things about it. I can't recommend it enough so GO get it now!

I am also beyond honoured and so happy to find some of my own rabbits featured in the book. While this particular rabbit had to hop along due to unfortunate life events you can still find her and her amazing new mom @HarveyInspired
