If you are looking for a PERSONAL working companion, consider Greta.
This is not a social lady. She is aloof and prefers to avoid strangers.
She cares only about her person and nothing more.
Once she acclimates to relocation and settles in with her new people she will be in your personal space bubble at every possible moment. She will give fully of herself to you and watch your back for the rest of her life. Of all the pups in this litter, Greta is most like her sire in temperament and behavior.
Greta is a large and powerful beast with a high desire to be active. She is still quite jumpy and doesn't know her own strength. She will likely finish in the 90 pound bracket.
For these reasons, a household with young children or other tiny dogs is not appropriate.
She is cage broke, 99% house broke, walks nice on lead and knows and responds to more than 30 commands. We train in drive regularly. We have also practiced with her running beside a bicycle.
She has been exposed to many different things and takes it all in stride. She is a young teen exploding with potential, but still needs lots more training. The buyer is required to take Greta to a group obedience class within 6 months of purchase to help her learn to look to you in public and precarious situations. This is a very important part of trust and bonding.
She is perfect in a vehicle, perfect for nail trimming and perfect for ear posting. Ears are close to finished but not quite yet.
Her prey drive is high, food drive is off the charts and willingness to work is continuous.
Greta is exceptionally observant, perceptive and probably the smartest in the litter.
Greta needs an active home.
She would excel in fastcat, tracking or other chase games, she loves water and would be a cinch at Rally or Obedience work.
She is also down with an evening on the couch if that is all you have to give that day.
Greta has not yet had her first heat cycle but it shouldn't be far off. Her teen hormones are unpredictable right now and she needs a person who will be understanding of that.
Greta is a really great dog that needs a really great person to love her.
